Our U16 Girls continued their winning form making it three from three on Tuesday evening, July 18th. Glenfin were in opposition in Pairc Naomh Ultan and it was Naomh Ultan who started the quicker, Kelly Gallagher pointing and then hitting the net. Jessica Kelly added a point followed by a Melissa O'Shea goal. That was matched by Jessica Kelly to get a goal of her own to put Naomh Ultan 3-2 to 0-0 up and well in the lead. Glenfin pointed before the water break and came out strong in the second quarter, scoring 1-3 before Elle Herron netted to steady up Naomh Ultan. Glenfin did point and score another goal nearing the end of the opening 30 minutes to take us in at half time on a scoreline of 4-2 to 2-5.

Both Murrays combined in the opening of the second half, Clodagh scored a point from play before Michaela scored a goal to get Naomh Ultan's fifth goal of the evening. Jessica Kelly added 1-1 to her account which was matched by Glenfin, returning the same score of 1-1 right after. Kelly Gallagher repeating that again as the third quarter was nearing an end, firstly pointing and then hitting the net for goal number seven. That left us at 7-5 to 3-6 during the water break, Naomh Ultan had built up a good lead after Glenfin coming back in the opening half.

Kelly Gallagher added another point to her collection after the restart before Jessica Kelly finished off a fine scoring performance firstly pointing, then completing her hat-trick with a third goal and settling for one last point before the final whistle. Glenfin did hit 1-3 in the final 15 minutes but it wasn't enough to catch Naomh Ultan, a great sporting game with an outstanding amount of goals!
