The GAA’s ever popular ‘Ireland Lights Up’ initiative returns in January 2025. GAA clubs across the 32 counties will once more ensure ‘Ireland Lights Up’ by turning on their floodlights and hosting club and community groups.

From January 6th, CLG Naomh Ultan will be selecting specific nights to host their events, encouraging everyone to come together, stay active, and enjoy the community spirit. Keep an eye out for more information closer to the time!

Irish Life, proud sponsors of the GAA Healthy Club programme, are once again onboard to host another 'Steps Challenge' through their MyLife health app. Back for a sixth year in 2025, the challenge offers participants the chance to win a share of €30,000 in club funding that Irish Life has made available for the ‘Every Step Counts Challenge’ donation fund.

Everyone who downloads Irish Life’s MyLife app will also get rewarded for being active! Last year an incredible 40,000 participants from over 900 clubs joined the Every Step Counts Challenge on Irish Life’s MyLife app to get active and show their support for their local GAA club.
